Cloud computing hasn’t been much of a surprise for two managed services entrepreneurs.

Cloud computing may be garnering plenty of ink, both real and virtual, but for two Johannesburg-based entrepreneurs, it’s simply a natural progression of an opportunity they saw over five years ago.

Yossi Hasson and David Jacobson founded Synaq in 2004 with the vision that open source software would become vastly more important to the average company than it was at the time. Hasson says that the two came from different points of view.
