As banking becomes increasingly digital, customers are demanding greater speed and convenience, but with that evolution, so too the methods of criminals are evolving.

“It’s easier and safer to try to break into a bank from the comfort of your mom’s basement than to do it in person,” says Sandro Bucchianeri, group chief security officer at Absa.
