There is one observation I have made about the ANC from its annual recently held policy conference. It is obvious that the party’s rank and file members are not on top of their organisation’s implementation of policy resolutions. Key policy resolutions are made, but fall through the cracks without any explanation of why they were never implemented in the first place.

There is also never clear feedback on the success or failure rates of resolutions that are implemented.
