According to Megan Nicolas, MTN’s general manager, Large Enterprises, Covid-19 has exposed how far behind we were here on 4IR and digital transformation. She also says that it demonstrated that corporates were not aligned, with many divisions having some kind of a strategy for 4IR, but no one main goal.

“My advice to the large enterprise right now would be to very quickly get a really strong digital strategy in place,” she stresses. “Our new norm will be happening digitally and this also has to factor in staff. This period has been really trying for them and we have to learn manage people differently.
