This is something Professor Brian Armstrong, the head of digital business at the University of the Witwatersrand, is taking a deep dive into.

"You can go to almost any consultancy and they have a digital transformation practice," says Armstrong. "You can go online and find books on digital transformation, but the real question is…who is right? Is consultant A’s model better than consultant B’s, or do we rely on material like Salim Ismail’s Exponential Organizations?"
