With dismay bordering on the operatic, I read Alec Erwin's latest brain-dead idea. Let's not sell Transnet and Eskom infrastructure to Neotel so they have a chance against the monster Ivy Matsepe-Casaburri created. Let's rather see if the Department of Public Enterprises is any better than the Department of Communications at pretending there's competition in the telecommunications industry.
Doesn't he get it? Oh wait. Stupid question.
