After months of delays, Great Wall Motors (GWM) launched the least expensive electric vehicle (EV) in South Africa.

The hatchback EV, known as the “Funky Cat” in markets abroad, will be called the GWM Ora 03 in South Africa. Ora is an acronym for “open, reliable, alternative”.
The price has dropped to R686 950 for the 300 Super Luxury base model, which was initially priced at R716 900. Pricing goes up to R835 950 for the top-of-the-range 400GT Ultra Luxury model.
