Evolving to a data-centric operation

Salesforce.com’s acquisition of Tableau Software heralds the next phase in its evolution.

14 August 2019

The recipe for running a digital business usually includes at least two key ingredients – customers and data. Salesforce.com is a leader in CRM solutions, so the importance of customers has long been at the centre of its mission, but its latest acquisitions show that it’s stepping up a gear in its status as a data-centric business.
