Forums designed to promote empowerment suffer as failures turn into public embarrassment.

Attempts are underway to settle the dust at the Black IT Forum (BITF) after executives spent weeks publicly fighting over what turned out to be unresolved personal issues.

Executive members Livingston Chilwane, Mthunzi Mdwaba and Cathy Phage, who have been at the centre of the dust-up, have finally entered into negotiations to resolve their issues.
