A recent survey by Gartner has highlighted how there has been a shift from purely cost cutting to delivering business optimisation.
The survey findings show how cost optimisation has become a business-focused discipline that drives spending and cost reduction, while maximising business value, said Stewart Buchanan, research vice president at Gartner.
