Which of the corporations named in a lawsuit against businesses accused of abetting apartheid can claim not to have known what the system was all about, when the United Nations had declared it a crime against humanity in 1972?

Which among the banks, computing companies, arms manufacturers, car makers and other businesses can stand up and deny to the world that their continued business dealings with the National Party government contributed to the upholding and success of the apartheid system?
