A man walks into a police station and says: “I’ve been mugged and I think it must have been a consultant.” The policeman on duty asks how he knows. So the man says: “Well, he charged me a fortune for the privilege and then made me do all the work.”
Consultants get a bad rap in some quarters for this kind of business model but if this month’s subject is anything to go by, they work a lot harder than they’re given credit for.
