There`s a ghost in the South African IT industry. Unlike its more reticent fellows, that do little more than lurk or slide headlessly through walls, this spectre is not shy to make its presence felt, moaning dismally through corporate and government corridors.

So when a company boasts of its success as a black empowerment concern, one wonders how the success would measure up without race as the ace up the sleeve.
